The FL Concept system starts with a thin lens design that employs multiple air-spaced elements to reduce weight, improve resolution, and minimize distortions. Zeiss also added a highly sophisticated eyepiece design that creates a wide field of view and long eye relief. Other details include exceptional internal baffling against stray light; T* anti-reflective multilayer coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces for brighter, high-contrast images; high-efficiency prisms for improved light transmission; and P* phase correction prism coatings for better resolution.

The Illuminated Rapid-Z 1000 Reticle
The state-of-the-art illuminated Rapid-Z 1000 ballistic reticle gives long-range hunters the advantage of precision aiming, with accurate holdover and wind-corrected information for shots at extended distances without complication. And because the reticle is located in the second image plane, there is minimal target cover even at high magnification. Combined with an integrated ranging feature, the scope clearly displays all the information you need to make clean, precise shots from the greatest distances, eliminating the need for estimation or timely calculations. Rapid-Z ballistic reticles feature numbered holdover lines that correspond to target distances and wind compensation hashes to correct for crosswinds. Once the distance and crosswind have been determined, the corresponding holdover line is placed of your target to encourage a precise shot every time.
